butter

So exciting! We've borrowed a butter churn from Jeff's parents, and tonight? Jeff made butter! First he skimmed off the cream from several jugs of milk, and let it sit in the refrigerator for a day or so. Then he put it in the churn, and started churning. He churned and churned and churned...

And then there was butter!
Does that look delicious, or what?
Also, we now have fresh buttermilk. Cheers!

I was wondering when this would happen in your house! Pretty soon you'll just buy a cow and chickens and move out to the country where you only use kerosene lanters.... or is that going a little far? :) Serioulsy I think it's awesome, what the boys think?

We just needed a butter churn! The boys think it's pretty cool. Ben helped churn for a while, but his stamina ran out...

Hooray for homemade butter! We won't eat any other kind now. Where did they get a butter churn?! We just shake, shake, shake to get it done. I'm excited for you!

I have no idea. They've had it for quite a while. Jeff's guessing a garage sale, I suspect an antique shop.

Do you guys get raw milk there in Korea?
