1) Kyle: Hey, I have a sand ball in my ear.
Daddy: Um, actually, that's earwax.
2) "Look, Dad! It's a Christmas elk!"
3) When I was up at 4am feeding Owen, Kyle crying to his dad about having lost a cupcake in his bed. What??
4) Ben, after coming in from playing in the snow: "You know what I want to do now? I want to sit by the fireplace, watch 'Bob the Builder,' and drink hot chocolate." (blissful sigh)
5) Kyle: "Ben, Ben! Calm down!!!"

Ah... Ben's plan of hot chocolate, a fire, and even 'Bob the Builder' does sound wonderful.
Also overheard last night from Kyle during "wrestle-time": "Ben, a little help here!"
Heh heh. I love hearing all these sophisticated sentences he's putting out these days!
ewwww... a sand ball in his ear... Seriously, my girls aren't HALF as "waxy" as my boys!!
AND~
This is hilarious, Mindy, but my son had a dream when he was about 4 that "nobody gave me a pancake!" (eerily similar to your cupcake story...hmmm... who knows how these little minds work?)
Too funny! I love these.
When Katya gets up in the morning she often talks about the garden she has growing in her bed.
